Larry Murphy has been selected as President of Darden Executive Education and Lifelong Learning, Custom Solutions. He will oversee Darden Executive Education’s custom business, including team leadership and full accountability for the revenue line. He will assume the role on January 1, 2019.
Murphy will join Darden from McKinsey & Company’s Atlanta office, where he is director of partner learning and is responsible for the learning and development of McKinsey’s more than 2,000 global partners and senior partners.
Stephen D. Mull is Vice Provost for Global Affairs at the University of Virginia, effective August 1st. In this role he is the primary lead on global relations at the University, responsible for developing a strategic vision, designing outreach, and overseeing international activities. Steve will oversee institutional development of global partnerships and develop a wide array of services, programs, experiences, and strategic partnerships that promote global imagination within the university community.
Magill is dean and Richard E. Lang Professor of Law at Stanford Law School, a position she has held since 2012. Before becoming Stanford Law School’s 13th dean, Magill was on the faculty at UVA’s School of Law for 15 years, serving most recently as vice dean, the Joseph Weintraub–Bank of America Distinguished Professor of Law and the Elizabeth D. and Richard A. Merrill Professor.
Davis is senior vice president for finance and administration at George Mason University, a position she has held since 2013. Prior to that, she served as vice president for finance and administration at the University of Delaware.
Since 2010, Hernandez has been a partner at the Charter School Growth Fund, leading the nonprofit’s Innovative Schools practice. In this role, he helped develop and deploy new K-12 learning models in public schools across the country. Hernandez brings to UVA his expertise in linking great instruction with educational technology, as well as years of experience expanding high-quality education programs.
