Associate Dean of Administration, Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy

The Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy has named Craig Lindqvist the new associate dean for administration. Lindqvist will succeed Bill Ashby as the chief financial and administrative officer for the school.

Associate University Librarian for Research & Learning Services

Mira Waller joins the University Library serving as the Associate University Librarian for Research and Learning Services. Previously she served as the Head of the Research Engagement Department at the North Carolina State University Libraries where she led and oversaw a department that provided expertise and services to enhance research and academic engagement; coordinated management of the Libraries’ high-tech spaces; and explored ways to partner with the NC State community throughout the research and academic enterprise.

Workday Financials Implementation Lead

As the Workday Financials Implementation Lead, Jackie is responsible for providing overall leadership and subject matter expertise in the implementation of Workday Financial Management, as well as managing the technical aspects of the project including business process configuration, integrations & conversions, and tenant management.

Associate Vice President, Development

Rob Allen previously joined UVA from Tulane University in New Orleans where he served as Assistant Vice President for Advancement. Formerly serving as Executive Director for Development at UVA, Rob now continues to serve the advancement community at Associate Vice President.

Associate Athletic Director and Executive Director, IM-Rec Sports

Erica has an extensive background in fitness, sport and recreation management spanning a career of 28 years. For the last 20 years she has worked at UVA in the IMRec, Athletics and Human Resources departments providing program, project and personnel management including oversight of IMRec internal, daily operations, spear-heading many initiatives like the Hoo’s Well employee wellness program, the Ufirst HR Transformation project and establishing two academic classes within the Kinesiology department to name a few.

Associate, Organizational Excellence

Reid joins the Office of Organizational excellence as an Associate. He spent the past four years as a career advisor at the Darden School of Business where he worked with and taught MBA students on all aspects of the job search. Prior to that, he worked in financial services for six years at BB&T and a financial technology startup, specializing in lending, bank management, and internal strategy work related to multicultural marketing. He began his career in Mexico managing a manufacturing facility.
