Workday Financials Implementation Lead

As the Workday Financials Implementation Lead, Jackie is responsible for providing overall leadership and subject matter expertise in the implementation of Workday Financial Management, as well as managing the technical aspects of the project including business process configuration, integrations & conversions, and tenant management. With a unique blend of both business process and technical expertise, Jackie brings over two decades of business operations and finance systems expertise, which she has used to leverage system implementations as an opportunity for organizations to improve business processes, implement industry best practices and provide career growth opportunities for its staff.

Prior to joining UVA Jackie spent nearly seven years in Yale University’s central Finance office, where she led a team in the selection and implementation of Workday, in addition to providing support for other enterprise financial systems including University budget tools and procurement systems. Prior to her role in central Finance, Jackie helped establish an integrated Information Technology organization in the Yale School of Medicine, and went on to lead teams that designed and developed applications in support of medical school faculty, staff and students, and managed the school’s technical infrastructure including its data centers and network services.

Jackie graduated magna cum laude from Southern Connecticut State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of New Haven. Jackie is also Workday Pro certified, and a two time winner of the prestigious Yale University Linda Lorimer Award for Distinguished Service for her contributions to both the Workday HCM and Financial Management implementations.
