Elizabeth Turrisi joined the UVA Alumni Association as Chief Technology Officer in November 2021 to lead the Alumni Association’s technical vision and provide strategic direction and day-to-day oversight of the Data and Technology team. Partnering and collaborating with Alumni Association staff, the University, University Information Technology Services, and University Advancement, Elizabeth will lead the team to develop and manage the architecture and technology roadmap to optimize resources, improve customer service, and ultimately increase alumni ‘connectedness’ to the Association.
Before joining the UVA Alumni Association, Elizabeth was a senior leader at CFA Institute in Charlottesville, most recently as Sr. Head, Membership Products; she has built and led teams in a variety of functional areas including product management, IT, publishing, and organizational effectiveness.
Elizabeth holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Brown University, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
