Assistant Vice President, Service

Adam Weikel has joined UVA Human Resources as the Assistant Vice President, Service. Adam has spent the last decade serving in a blend of higher education, human resources, and public sector roles. He joins us from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, where he serves as Associate Chief and Director of Strategic Operations, reporting to the Governor’s Chief of Staff.  In this position, he built and lead a team of internal consultants responsible for addressing the state's most complex operational and service delivery challenges across Massachusetts’s 43,000-employee organization.

Executive Director, Curry School Foundation, University Advancement

Mike Cashman retired from the U.S. Navy as a Captain in 2014 after serving for 29 years as a helicopter pilot. In this role, he had the unique opportunity to command various squadrons stationed across the globe. Most significantly, he commanded the largest aviation airwing in the Navy with over 5000 Sailors, 150 helicopters and 15 operational and training units.

Workday Financials Implementation Lead

As the Workday Financials Implementation Lead, Jackie is responsible for providing overall leadership and subject matter expertise in the implementation of Workday Financial Management, as well as managing the technical aspects of the project including business process configuration, integrations & conversions, and tenant management.

Vice President and Chief Student Affairs Officer

President Jim Ryan and Provost Liz Magill announced that Robyn S. Hadley, associate vice chancellor and dean for scholar programs at Washington University in St. Louis, will become UVA’s next vice president and chief student affairs officer, effective June 1.
