Olga Weider

The University of Virginia has appointed Olga N. Weider as the next Associate Vice President for Finance and University Controller. Weider joins UVAFinance with a wealth of experience and a proven track record in financial management. Olga is a lifelong learner who is passionate about innovation and continuous improvement, founded on integrity and good stewardship. She is committed to collaborative teamwork and solutions-based strategic planning.

Karen Milbourne

The Fralin Museum of Art at the University of Virginia has selected Karen Elizabeth Milbourne, Ph.D. to lead the Museum as the new J. Sanford Miller Family director. An innovative leader and curator with more than 20 years of experience in the museum field, Milbourne will assume her new role on Jan. 29, 2024. She succeeds previous director Matthew McLendon, Ph.D., who led the Fralin for six years.

Kenyon Bonner

The University of Virginia announced Monday that Kenyon Bonner, vice provost for student affairs at the University of Pittsburgh, has been appointed as vice president and chief student affairs officer.

Holly Law Eve

Holly Law Eve will join the University of Virginia as the Director of Real Estate and Leasing Services on November 6, 2023. She joins us from the Better Housing Coalition (BHC) where she joined where she served as Vice President of BHC’s Real Estate Division and oversaw all of BHC’s new multi-family and single-family development efforts. 

Kemi Jona

Dr. Kemi Jona has been named Vice Provost for Online Education and Digital Innovation and will join the Provost’s Office on November 6, 2023. In this role, Jona will collaborate with partners across Grounds to refine and implement the University’s digital education strategy, helping to shape UVA’s vision for online education in alignment with our position as one of the nation’s leading public research universities.

Elly Jackson

Elly Jackson grew up in Jackson, Mississippi and moved to Charlottesville in 2010 to attend UVA as an undergraduate.  Drawn to the strong liberal arts tradition, she double majored in Art History and Religious Studies.  During her time at UVA, she participated in multiple arts-related initiatives across Grounds, including service as a member of the Student Arts Committee on Student Council, later co-chairing this committee, and serving as a Student Docent at the Fralin Museum of Art.
