Professor of Practice, Darden School of Business
Toni Irving is coming to Darden as a Professor of Practice. She will bring her broad experience in academia, social impact and government. Most recently, she was the Executive Director of Get IN Chicago where she launched and led a $45 million social impact fund. She has also served as the Deputy Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor to Govern Pat Quinn of Illinois. Prior to this, she was an assistant professor in the Department of English at the University of Notre Dame. Toni is a UVA graduate where she earned her BA in English, Modern Studies Honors Program. She also earned a MA Modern Studies, with distinction at the University of Kent and a PhD in English and American Literature at NYU.
