Lauren is a healthcare finance executive with more than 15 years of experience leading finance, accounting, and enterprise transformation initiatives across complex healthcare organizations. She brings deep expertise in financial planning and analysis, controllership, system implementations, and financial operations strategy.
Most recently, Lauren served as Vice President of Finance Operations and Controller at Luminis Health in Annapolis, Maryland, where she oversaw key back office finance functions including accounting, tax, treasury, payroll, accounts payable, capital projects, and financing activities.
Prior to joining Luminis Health, Lauren was Senior Director of Corporate Finance at Sentara Health, where she led finance and accounting teams and supported multiple enterprise-wide transformation and implementation initiatives. She began her career in public accounting with PwC and KPMG, specializing in external audits for healthcare systems, universities, and nonprofit organizations.
Lauren earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Villanova University and a Master of Business Administration from William & Mary. She is also a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
