Rachel Turner grew up in Charlottesville, Virginia. Her parents, registered nurses, relocated from Georgia to work at the University of Virginia. Over the years, Rachel has engaged in many activities facilitated by the University of Virginia including trick or treating on the lawn, utilizing the libraries resources for her studies, attending concerts at Old Cabel Hall, participating in First Friday art showings at McGuffey Art Center, walking the trails at Monticello, viewing independent films at the Virginia Film Festival, and teaching group exercise classes at the Aquatics Fitness Center. She has twelve years of operational support experience from law firms, nonprofits, professional associations, health care, intellectual property management companies, staffing agencies, and higher education.
Prior to joining the Executive Search Group in May 2022, she served as an Administrative Assistant within the School of Medicine at the University, where she supported the hiring committee for faculty members within the Division of Pulmonary & Critical Care. While there, she was an active student member of the local Charlottesville SHRM chapter.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, reading, exercising, going on nature walks, and attending/participating in various performing arts.
She is a double Richmond Spider graduating from the University of Richmond with her Bachelor of Applied Studies degree in Paralegal Studies, Magna Cum Laude, and in 2024 with her Masters in Human Resource Management,Summa Cum Laude.
