Maryellen Dolan

Director, Real Estate Asset Management

As Director of Real Estate Asset Management for the UVA Foundation, Maryellen Dolan is responsible for developing and implementing real estate asset management strategies and leading the Foundation’s team of asset management and facilities operations professionals. While holding senior positions with institutional investors prior to joining the Foundation, Ms. Dolan acquired extensive experience in all areas of real estate ownership and development, including the management of joint venture equity investments, acquisitions, and asset management.

Ms. Dolan’s asset management experience includes defining investment strategies and managing real estate investments in major U. S. markets. For the past decade, she has been responsible for managing a significant part of National Real Estate Advisors, LLC’s portfolio of joint venture equity developments and construction loans. Previously, she served as the Director of Acquisitions for an office real estate investment trust.

Ms. Dolan earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Real Estate at The American University and received her Master’s degree in Economics from Georgetown University. Ms. Dolan is a member of The Counselors of Real Estate®. She has served on the North American Benchmark Committee for the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB) and the Sustainable Development Committee of the National Association of Office and Industrial Parks (NAIOP).
