The School of Continuing and Professional Studies is pleased to announce the appointment of Damon R. Wade as Associate Dean for Student Services and Enrollment Management. Damon assumed his role August 21, 2017. Within this role, Damon will oversee student admissions, registration, retention services, marketing and communications, and outreach and recruitment services.
Damon brings 15 years of strategic enrollment management and outreach expertise and proven ability as a highly skilled administrator. He transitions to the School of Continuing and Professional Studies from his role as Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness and Enrollment Management at Grambling State University.
Damon frequently presents at national and regional meetings on such topics as the relationship between enrollment and institutional advancement, the future of enrollment management, and developing a campus-wide culture of assessment. In addition, Damon has been a consultant to several colleges and universities on issues related to strategic enrollment management, strategic planning, and regional accreditation. Damon holds a Ph.D. in public policy and administration and a master of public administration degree from Walden University. He earned a master's degree in urban affairs at Norfolk State University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Elizabeth City State University.
