AJ Davidson has over a decade of experience working in higher education, with a strong background in recruitment and talent acquisition. Prior to joining UVA’s Executive Search Group, AJ led talent acquisition strategy for the University’s complex advancement community. She worked alongside senior leadership to identify, engage and attract advancement talent from across the country—including identifying talent from within UVA.
Prior to joining the University, AJ oversaw recruitment for a financial services firm and worked in career services at Washington and Lee University. She has a passion for understanding people, their aspirations and their motivations.
AJ earned her BA in psychology from Gettysburg College. She has an MEd and an EdS in mental health counseling from the University of Virginia.
