Niles Eggelston

Associate Dean for Advancement

Niles Eggelston has been appointed Associate Dean for Advancement in the School of Engineering & Applied Science at the University of Virginia. Niles assumed his new role June 26.

Niles brings 17 years of high-impact advancement and development expertise. He transitions to the School of Engineering from his role as Associate Vice President for Development and Campaign Initiatives from the University of Florida and the UF Health and Health Science Center campaign. Prior to that, he served in various development capacities at the University of Rochester, West Virginia University and James Madison University.

Throughout his career, Niles has demonstrated a talent for leading his teams to create and execute strategically planned fundraising programs that frequently exceed their goals. This experience and success will be critical to UVA Engineering as we focus our research and education programs around initiatives that will differentiate our school and benefit society, and as we prepare to participate in the University’s Bicentennial Campaign. Niles brings the knowledge, skills and abilities to engage stakeholders in supporting our forward-thinking initiatives.
